Welcome to our Children's Autism Hub
Our Children’s Autism Hub is open to all children and young people aged 0–18, and their families, whether they have a formal autism diagnosis or are currently awaiting assessment. We aim to make the journey as supportive and inclusive as possible, offering guidance, strategies, and information that empower families to respond to their child’s needs with confidence. For children with additional needs, such as a learning disability, we provide tailored support focused specifically on their autism, ensuring families feel understood, informed, and equipped.

To access the Children’s Autism Hub, families must be residents of Telford and Wrekin. Once connected with us, our team works to help you navigate available services, ensuring you feel supported rather than overwhelmed. We also signpost families to additional local and national resources, helping you access the tools, professionals, and opportunities that will best support your child’s growth, independence, and everyday experiences.

It’s important to remember that a diagnosis does not change who your child is—they remain the same unique and wonderful individual you have always known. What a diagnosis can offer is clarity and reassurance, helping you understand how your child experiences the world. With this understanding, our shared objective is to ensure your child receives the right support at the right time, building confidence, nurturing their strengths, and promoting positive long-term outcomes for their wellbeing, learning, and development.

Above all, our aim is to walk alongside you with compassion, professionalism, and understanding. By offering a welcoming space, clear information, and practical support, we hope to strengthen your confidence, deepen your understanding of your child’s needs, and help create positive, meaningful outcomes for both your child and your family.
